Dear Sisters and Brothers,

I hope this correspondence finds you at the peak of your resistance and in the best of health and good spirits. It gives me pleasure to notify all of you that a tour is being arranged to promote and showcase the epic documentary Mugabe:  Villain or Hero?, which won the Special Jury Recognition award at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles during the month of February 2013.  The director/producer of the film, Mr. Roy Agyemang, is also the founder of Under the Radar Films.  The documentary has been viewed in several cities such as Selma, Alabama; Oakland, California; Atlanta, Georgia and New York City, New York and it received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback.  Mr. Agyemang humbly expressed an interest in having a 60-day tour organized in the United States, to ensure Africans, commonly referred to as African-Americans and our kith and kin throughout the diaspora would have an opportunity to watch the film in their communities.  It brings me pleasure to announce we plan to begin this monumental tour from September 20th to November 20th 2013. Because Brother Agyemang is based in the United Kingdom, what would be required is his housing and transportation and it would have to be provided by those organizations and institutions interested in organizing a showing of the documentary.

As an added bonus in connection to the tour, besides Mr. Agyemang being physically in attendance, he will occasionally be joined by Mr. Obi Egbuna Jr., the U.S. Correspondent to the Herald (Zimbabwe’s National Newspaper).  Mr. Egbuna also wrote a Children’s Play entitled Sally Mugabe Lives Forever that focused on the life and work of the late first lady of Zimbabwe and National Hero.   The play was performed in 2012, which marked the 20th anniversary of Amai (Mother) Sally Mugabe’s passing.  We hope this notice gives all those interested in organizing a showing of this groundbreaking documentary ample time to plan and add this to your schedule of educational programming aimed at enhancing our collective intellect and appetite for change on the African continent and throughout the diaspora.  If you are interested in organizing a showing of the documentary please email the following addresses palo02@yahoo.com or skornegay@comcast.net or call (240) 460-0188 or (202) 285-7400.
